Directions to the stanley arms

We are close to the city of Manchester, and within easy commuting distance of Manchester International Airport. This allows for comfortable shopping trips to the famous Trafford Centre, and the renowned Arndale Centre in the heart of the city.

The Stanley Arms is a mere fifteen minutes from Macclesfield train station, where you can catch a train to Manchester or London, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Birmingham and other towns and cities on the route.

Situated on the edge of the Peak National Park, we are close to the Cheshire towns of Macclesfield and Congleton, Buxton in Derbyshire and Leek in Staffordshire.

Approaching from Macclesfield on the A537, look for a crossroads with Goyt Valley signposted to the left, and Wildboarclough to the right. Follow the Wildboarclough road for ¾ of a mile, and we are on the left at the bottom of the hill. The picture below shows the approach to this junction.
